ELAN VALLEY CASCADE

The Elan Valley, west of Rhayader in Powys, is a walkers paradise.

The huge reservoirs created by damming the Elan and Claerwen rivers are home to a wide variety of wildlife. The area really comes into its own in Autumn when the woodlands take on golden colours.
